Fighting Poverty Through Skills and Enterprise

Last updated 9 October 2026

Poverty reduction requires knowledge, skills, opportunity and the ability to create sustainable income. Our approach empowers people with capabilities they can use repeatedly. A young person who acquires a practical skill can seek employment, start a small enterprise, provide services and potentially employ other people. Education → Skills → Enterprise → Income → Employment → Community Development Through our enterprise and skills-development activities, we aim to contribute to youth employability, self-employment, entrepreneurship, practical skills development, agricultural development, poverty reduction, community economic development, employment opportunities and a skilled workforce. These are intended contributions. Verified programme outcomes will be published as they become available. OUR LONG-TERM AMBITION We aspire to grow into a centre of practical learning, enterprise development and youth empowerment, where agriculture, TVET, entrepreneurship and innovation come together. We envision a place where young people can learn a skill, practise that skill, develop an enterprise idea and begin their journey towards economic independence. We want to help build skilled people who can build themselves, their families and their communities.
